Davios in Philadelphia

The food was delightful, but it truly was underscored and out performed by our waitress Ms. Jordan. She brought so much energy and knowledge to the dining experience that truly was effortless, but scrumptious and the value for the experience...Simply priceless! Each suggestion was spot on with our tastes, and well thought out. Not just a canned script to elicit the highest tab and increased tip. She was so kind. The food , as expected, fabulous. Can't wait to head back to try to repeat that experience!

We had a business dinner in the city and I selected Davios because I like the restaurant in King of Prussia. The city version did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was a little problem with the single elevator you need to take to gain entrance but everyone survived that! The food was terrific and I enjoyed the popovers, the scallops and risotto, and the light chocolate dessert!

I love the way we were treated on our visit in late February. The perfect popovers could have been in the desert menu. The springs were filling and delicious and the house made pasta was too!! I asked for asparagus in my pasta and they exceeded my expectations. Dessert to die for. The icing on the cake was our wonderful waiter. Her was helpful, patient, pleasant and fun to chat with.

Simply amazing. Great pasta. Ordered the Kobe meatballs amazing. They provided pop overs for table bread that was delicious. Need to go eat here.

It's located at the second floor. Has traditional seating and a bar. Ambiance is good, although the lighting may be slightly too dark for my taste. Service is good and servers know what they're talking about. The pop-over bread is excellent although may be slightly too salty for some people (but not for me!). The food is good and about what I expected. The fillet mignon topped with lobster sauce is great! While the gnocchi was... Just ok. Another downside is that the price is a little to steep for this kind of food, but not by too large of a margin. Would I come back? Maybe, but there are a lot of other restaurants in Philly with similarly great quality at much better price points.

Always a good time. I went for a glass of wine after work, but have come here often for lunch. They have great lunch specials. Good for entertaining clients.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are yummy and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.

Amazing food and exceptional service! I went there with a party of 12 for a Christmas dinner. Our waitress was Lisa and she was as fabulous as the food! The best waitress and service I've ever had in my dining experience. Lisa really knew her stuff; she went over the details of the menu, offered recommendations, and was so friendly and sociable. You could tell she really enjoys what she does and that reflected in the service as well as the food. The steak was delicious, asapargus was perfect, and the mac n cheese was heaven. We will definitely be back again to see you, Lisa! Thank you again for the great food and hospitality.

My wife were in Philly for our Wedding Anniversary. We made reservations here and were extremely pleased with our experience. This place is outstanding. The restaurant is on the second floor and you take an elevator to get upstairs. Once upstairs the decor is beautiful. There is a Bar with a large open dining area. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The food from appetizer to dessert was phenomenal. This is a great restaurant.

This was before covid-19. It was amazing! Food was delicious and the service was excellent. You will definitely score major husband/boyfriend points for taking her here. I know i did🤫😎

We had some great service here. He wasn’t overbearly or too chatty. And that steak! Look at it.

Nice upscale Italian steakhouse. Wonderful hot popovers. Nice selection of meat, seafood, and salads. We went for restaurant week, perfect value. Like many restaurants, the lighting is such you cannot read the menu, see your food or your dinner partner, but what to do?

It was my husband birthday. We arrived a little earlier than expected. They were able to accommodate us.It was my hubby first time. He left well please. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable. He was very professional and kind.We really liked Ronnie.Our food was very very good. What a great atmosphere. Everyone was so kind.

Excellent lunch for restaurant week!! I especially loved the Lemon Sole with crab!

A great place to have lunch or dinner especially during restaurant week. We didn't get the chance to try their beef short ribs because the menu was changed for the second restaurant week offer. We ordered every selections on the lunch menu and shared among ourselves. The appetizers were very good especially the Gnocchi that had just the right texture. Our entrees seared tuna was cooked to perfection. However, the carbonara pasta was a little dried even after mixing in the egg yolk. Overall, most of our the dishes were excellent and they were accompanied with outstanding services. We will be back to try something else on their regular menu.

I have been going to Davio’s for 10+ years and never had a bad experience! I personally feel that they not only have some of the best Italian food in the city in addition to having some of the best steaks that a Philly has to offer. The service is impeccable, the staff here is truly top notch, they’ve executed dinners with myself and 1 guest just as flawlessly as they have groups of up to 20 of us! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and is kept immaculately clean. You’d be hard pressed to find another restaurant in Philadelphia or any other major city that has been open as long as Davio’s and keeps the menu fresh and interesting while consistently delivering top notch service. If I had to name one Philadelphia restaurant as my favorite it’d be Davio’s.!

I like this place a lot. there is a unique mood. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is efficient and the team is polite. The cost is satisfactory. I highly recommend.

I like the flavor and combination. Especially the spicy crab chowder since I am not a fan of heavy cheese.

Yesterday was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the magnificent cooking and wine and with the comfortable price. We will surely return there again.
